WHS, EM and QA Systems

We take pride in our commitment to our service delivery, which is underpinned by our integrated management system (IMS). In line with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard, our IMS manual provides an overarching framework document for the implementation of three critical aspects of our business operation:

  • Work Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Environmental Management (EM)
  • Quality Assurance (QA)

Our IMS (WHS, QA and EM) Manual, Procedures and Documentation can be provided on request.
We work hard to meet and exceed our IMS objectives, below.

Work Health and Safety (WHS) objectives

To ensure that the personnel associated with SW Environmental are not adversely affected by WHS issues; and that all workplace risks are identified and appropriate measures to remove or reduce risk are implemented.

Environmental Management (EM) objectives

To ensure impacts to environment are minimised during work carried out by SW environmental personnel and that best practice is maintained.

Quality Assurance (QA) objectives

Fieldwork, research and reporting 

To ensure that all information used for advice and reporting is of a consistently high standard of accuracy and applicability, that all relevant legislation, policy and other planning instruments have been identified and consulted, and all relevant environmental aspects and issues have been identified and examined.

To ensure that all reports, plans and other documents released by SW environmental are of a consistently high standard of accuracy and appearance. To ensure all reports meet high standard all reports will be prepared and reviewed by suitably qualified personnel.

To ensure that the customers of SW environmental are satisfied with the quality and standard of work carried out by SW Environmental.
